Signal acquisition via the spindle.
During signal detection via the spindle, the edge of the spindle is detected with a pulse generator. Two edges are detected per revolution of the spindle, resulting in two pulses per spindle revolution. As one spindle revolution transports exactly the volume of the measuring chamber, two pulses are generated per measuring chamber volume.
