Positioning of (hydraulic) cylinders.

When determining the position of cylinders, the quantity of oil conveyed into the cylinder is measured precisely in order to define the position of the actuator to be adjusted exactly (e.g. drill head of a tunnel boring machine). The hydraulic systems are subject to high pulsations caused by the hydraulic pumps. With the return flow detection of KRAL flowmeters, return flows are detected and taken into account in measurements.
