Fillers are increasingly being added to polyurethane and fillers are often abrasive. Fillers bring different values to the PUR properties; fillers are used to reduce combustion and provide better insulating values, and increase strength of the final product.

Abrasive fillers accelerate wear on the mechanical seal, spindles, and the casing of standard pumps.  KRAL recommends the magnetic coupling pump with hardened spindles and pump casings. After consulting with KRAL, the pump design can be planned according to user specification.
